A small peaceful and tranquil olive 'finca' owned by a friendly English couple - John and Tracy Booth . Set in the quiet countryside, it is surrounded by mandarin and orange groves and close to the village of Benifallet , where can you relax in the evenings in the bars and restaurants.

Take a break from everyday life and stroll down from your accommodation to our very own exclusive and private river frontage of the famous Ebro - longest river in Spain with three swims for anglers. Where you will be spoilt for choice in finding large carp, zander, bream and the magnificent giant Wells Catfish and much, much more!

If you are not a fisherman do not worry ! There is so much to enjoy in this area and all within short driving distance. Staying at Del Riu is a popular choice for both those who enjoy a holiday with lots of activities and variety, or those who just want to sit in the sun with a good book and just watch the river during the changing seasons. A fishing experience on the Ebro is not to be missed, whether you are an avid fishermen or just a curious beginner. It's there for young and old, males and females. We have a number of experienced guides to call on.

Some like to fish up around Benifallet and towards Miravet or down to the weir(L'Assut) at Xerta. Others sing the praises of the Ebro from Tiveyns and down past Aldover toward Tortosa. Amposta Waters and right on down the Ebro Delta have seen much excitement of late in big catches. Fishing guides do book up very quickly so please book early. Email us for available options.

Fishing licences can be arranged - copy of passport required 4 weeks before departure. Licences cost only 20 Euros and are payable on arrival.

Del Riu presently consists of only two stationary vacation caravans, ("Static's" as known by the Brits!) the Bamboo and the Olive - so you won't be disturbed by the crowds. They are along the river bank of the Ebro and its outstanding fishing, hiking, boating and just gentle vacation lounging in this beautiful scenic area.

The Olive is 2-bedroomed and sleeps 6 whereas the Bamboo is 3-bedroomed but sleeps 8. They are fully equipped static caravans with wc and shower - hot running water, bed linen and towels are provided, the kitchens are fully stocked with equipment and each one has a heater in the lounge area if needed in the Low Season.
