Fishing no longer needs to be a solitary sport down at Ebro Big Fish

 

 

What do you prefer?

Option One: Sitting alone on a cold river, canal, lake or reservoir bank in the UK or Europe. The thick blanket of cloud nestling no higher than your eyebrows and maybe even sheet rain is falling. Yes, you are wrapped up warm in your oil skins and fishing specific designed clothes and huge golf umbrella, (I wonder where I got that from?) poised for take-off at any moment. Where is the family? Sensibly, they thought, snug at home.

Option Two: You have persuaded another, lone fishermen to join you. Both of you are armed with flasks of hot tea and soup, and fish paste sandwiches (pardon the pun). Neither of you can fathom out why could not persuade your beloved family to join in one of your favourite pastimes –fishing.

Option Three: You prefer to plan a fishing holiday abroad, but can no longer afford a family holiday and an away for a four days fishing expedition with your mates.  Besides you will have had to run the gauntlet of all the family discussions on why you want to fish abroad versus we need to tighten our belts at home directives.

So what is the alternative?
