Fishing – the river Ebro offers some of Europe’s finest fishing and is famed for its impressive carp and huge catfish. We can help organise guided fishing tours.

This whole area is superb hiking country, with signposted G.R. trails through the hills and the mountains of the Els Ports natural parks and Cardó sierra and Delta. The Via Verde greenway is an old railway line, now converted into a cycling, walking and horseriding trail, and runs through some of the area’s best and most dramatic scenery.
The fascinating landscapes of the Ebro delta natural park are home to flamingos and many other species, and are ideal for birdwatching, cycling or a seafood lunch or paella, followed by a leisurely ferry ride to the mouth of the Delta and Mediterranean Sea.
River Ebro canoeing trips are available from our friends at BeniEmocions in Benifallet, and you can take a 45-minute trip up and down the river on Benifallet’s very own pleasure cruise!
